European Night Without Accident 2008

In 2008, during the European Night Without Accident, more than 500 volunteers were present in about 180 nightclubs located in 21 countries:

• France -> 19 nightclubs (Avenir Santé and Voiture & Co)
• The Netherlands -> 2 nightclubs (Stichting Responsible Young Drivers Nederland)
• Poland -> 52 nightclubs (Fundacja "KRZYŚ")
• Estonia -> 4 nightclubs (TBWA)
• Lithuania -> 4 nightclubs (TBWA)
• Latvia -> 3 nightclubs (TBWA)
• Germany -> 1 nightclub (IVV Bautzen)
• Greece -> 11 nightclubs (RSI Panos Mylonas)
• Portugal -> 16 nightclubs (GARE)
• Denmark -> 5 nightclubs (GODA)
• Slovakia -> 2 nightclubs (Magic Seven)
• Ireland -> 3 nightclubs (RSA)
• Spain -> 4 nightclubs (FEBE)
• Malta -> 2 nightclubs (Outdoor Sports Association)
• Cyprus -> 3 nightclubs (University of Nicosia)
• Italy -> 1 nightclub (Province of Crotone)
• Hungary -> 2 nightclubs (HAHA)
• Finland -> 1 nightclub (Finish Health Association)
• Bulgaria -> 1 nightclub (Open Youth)

The results: 81% out of the drivers who accepted to commit themselves to remain sober all night long were safe after blowing into the breathalyzers.
